Privacy Policy

What information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 20, 2026

This policy explains what information Ohm Law Firm, P.A. (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.

Information you give us

When you use a contact form on this site we collect what you enter: your name, phone number and email address, the office you are contacting, the kind of help you need, how you prefer to be contacted, and your message. We also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your IP address, which helps us block spam.

We use this only to respond to you, to check whether we can help (including checking for conflicts of interest), and to keep a record of the enquiry. Your message is emailed to our office and stored in our website’s administration area, which only our staff can access.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the website. Contacting us through this site does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information sent before we have agreed to represent you may not be treated as confidential.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting records basic technical details of each visit — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — for security and to keep the site running.
  • Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It is only switched on if you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and your approximate location. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Maps. Maps of our offices are provided by Google Maps. They are only loaded when you click “Show map”, and Google may then set its own cookies.
  • Fonts. The site’s typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie of its own, ohm_consent, which remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so we do not ask again on every page. It contains no personal information and lasts six months. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run this website and our email (such as our web host), with the providers named above, where the law requires it, or with your permission.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our professional and legal record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and access to enquiries is limited to our staff. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, which is another reason not to send sensitive details through the site.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from this website, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. Some information we may be required to keep, for example to meet our obligations as a law firm.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
